The National Council of Jewish Women–St. Louis Section is a volunteer-driven organization of 1,800 members and supporters committed to improving the quality of life for women, children and families.

Community Service:

For more than 118 years, NCJW has identified unmet needs in the St. Louis community and developed innovative, hands-on projects which have positively affected thousands of lives.

Since 1895, NCJW’s pioneering projects have grown into vital social programs and agencies on their own, helping thousands of St. Louis women, children and families.

  • Legal Advocates for Abused Women (LAAW)

  • Healing Hearts Bank – a microlending project for victims of domestic violence

  • Adopt an Apartment

  • Volunteer opportunities with Harvey Kornblum Jewish Food Pantry and Reproductive Health Services of Planned Parenthood
